WELCOME TO PLANT + BLOOM COUNSELING

ROOTED IN WELLNESS.

About Us

At Plant and Bloom Counseling, we don’t give advice or tell you what to do, but we can plant seeds.  These seeds can help incite meaningful reflection, provoke deeper questioning, and challenge maladaptive thought and behavior patterns. As your therapist, I will also help you explore the root of your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and attachment wounds. As you utilize tools from therapy in your day-to-day life and actively engage in your healing journey, you’ll be able to bloom into a more healed version of yourself.

1.

Trauma

Trauma has the ability to distort our view of ourselves and the world around us. It can cause us to feel a plethora of emotions as we navigate life.  With trauma, we may often feel disconnected from our bodies and oftentimes feel like we are just on autopilot, going through the motions. I utilize a mind-body connection approach to trauma and other trauma-informed, evidence-based practices to help clients work through past traumas.

2.

Anxiety

Anxiety can impact every facet of your life, causing feelings of nervousness, excessive worry and unease. Left unchecked, it can become debilitating. Together, we'll explore the root causes of your anxiety, develop coping strategies and techniques, and understand your triggers. With therapy, you can learn how to manage and overcome your anxiety, and take back control of your life.

3.

Attachment Issues

Attachment issues can have a profound impact on adult relationships and create a sense of disconnection and isolation. If you're struggling with attachment issues let's work through these challenges to create healthier and more fulfilling relationships. Together, we'll explore the underlying causes of how past childhood experiences have impacted how you attach in your adult relationships and help you work towards healthy, meaningful relationships.

4.

Depression

Depression can feel like an intense heavy weight that you carry. Depression can show up in several different ways such as feeling numb, irritable, and loss of interest in things you used to enjoy. Let's uncover what could be the source of the depression and while also implementing tools to help alleviate the intensity of depressive feelings.
